Reasoning:
I like Assad, but buying low on Scherzer, albeit it warranted with his recent injury streak, while selling high on Assad I believe positions Baltimore well for 2025 competition. The RFA rights give me flexibility on how the rest of our off-season plays out. Best of luck to Jason and Chicago!
