Colorado sends:

Jordan Groshans Marlins SS prospect
Jay Groome Padres P prospect
6th round pick in 2023 MiLB draft

Miami sends:

Salvador Perez C KC

COLORADO LOGIC:

We were looking to acquire another bat, and catcher is one of areas we can improve on. Odds are we’ll Franchise Tag (or RFA) him at the end of the season, so not just a two month rental here. Nice talks with Stoffer, as always.
