Cincy Logic:
Desperate times call for desperate measures. I felt that I needed an elite closer to feel more comfortable in the standings. Despite my best efforts, I have struggled in the bullpen department this season, so I felt it was worth the risk to overpay for Diaz.

Los Angeles agrees to this trade. I've been looking to boost the outfield position for a while and although I didn't want to move a closer, I felt this was a good opportunity to take advantage of to address a few needs on the team. Thank you to Bailey for the smooth negotiations.
