Jesus Aguilar 1B MIA 22: $2m, 23; $3m

Red Sox of Chicago sends:

Alec Bohm 1B/3B PHI 22-24: $0.5m
Shay Whitcomb Astros SS prospect

COLORADO LOGIC:  Jason approached us about Aguilar.  While we find value in Aguilar, love the opportunity to get Bohm and Whitcomb.  Being the eternal optimist, I think he solves his problems (just a sophomore slump) and becomes a perennial 25 HR 80 RBI guy.  Whitcomb could slip up and be the future SS for Astros, although I see him being the future 2B.  Nice deal put together quickly.  Great talks with Jason, as always.

RedSox agree to this trade. At one point Bohm was a huge part of my team, but as it went on I kept getting the same kind of players.(high on base low power) Aguilar has the power to broke that mode for me. Good Luck Brent
